Air Dry Clay Top Tips

Tip 1.

When cutting out clay shapes with cutters and knives you can use a wet finger to smooth the edges.

Tip 2.

If working on one section of clay, you can use a babywipe to keep the rest of it moist to stop it drying out whilst you work.

Tip 3.

You can colour air dry clay with water-based inks whilst wet. When dry you can paint it with acrylics, alcohol inks and pastels.

Tip 4.

You can protect the clay by varnishing it.
